Can't stop reading and worked up now

Studio24 have rejected the DMP offer from Step Change and have told SC they will take court action stating I would have know I was in financial difficulties obviously I didn't know my husband was going to leave me and I would have to start spending £300 a month on childcare as well as provide for 3 children day to day, any how now feel sick with worry as of yet I haven't heard anything from them to confirm this is what they are doing but hate not knowing was coping so well up until this point :-(

Court will not order you to pay more than you can afford so try not to panic about them.

Worrying will do nothing but hurt you - it won't change anything other than cause some nasty physical and mental effects from the stress. Take a deep breath, understand that it will be dealt with on Monday at the earliest, and enjoy your Sunday as best you can. If any problem could be fixed through worrying, can you imagine how the world would be?! Life changes constantly, so while where you are now is not where you were a few months ago, in a few months you will not be where you are now either. You CAN encourage change in the general direction you would like to go but it requires positivity. Put the worry down and try to think about the positive things you can do to set your life in motion in the right direction for you. Far more productive. You cannot affect anything over the weekend so put it down - pick it up on Monday with SC if needs be and allow them, as the professionals who deal with these issues day in day out, to handle it on your behalf. Breeeeaaaaathe! :)

I know that feeling very well, it is painful and frightening and the last think you think of at night and the first thing in the morning, but please try to calm down. Remember to check the sc website which will tell you what can happen about debts, from memory I think it will tell you that they can't recover anything without a court order (and the court won't order what you can't pay). They are no more priority than any other unsecured debt. If you are here your credit rating is already shot so don't be concerned, it will get sorted. You are trying your best, bad things can happen, but good people take steps to sort it out like you have.

I feel your pain. Take care and try to do something nice for you.
