daughter come out in dreadful spots!

Options
HI all,

We have moved to Sweden and are renting out an apartment (from my dh company). They provided us with a 'z' bed for my little soon to be 3 year old to sleep in. After a couple of nights and very early mornings (with one waking the other one up!) we decided to put my daughter in the spare closet(which is the same size has her bedroom at home!) I asked the Company if there was a problem putting her in there and they explained it would be no problem has long has we kept the door open at night. We made the room as pretty as possible and she was delighted to get her own space. Anyway, the next morning she woke up with terrible spots on her body. They are red with white heads and very sore looking. Some are in groups (fleas?) and others not so. They are in practically every part of her body (ears, and also in her nappy).

I contacted the rental people and they brought another bed and new duvet and pillow with full apologies etc. I have washed everything in the room and wanted to know what you all thought these bites could be? I have been to a Chemist and covered her in cream. The poor baby looks awful and moans at the pain they cause

Any advice very welcomed.

MM

    Hi madsmum,

I'm afraid that asking for or giving medical advice, including alternative remedies is strictly against Martin's rules, so I am going to have to close this thread. Sorry. I hope your little one feels better soon.

    MEDICAL ADVICE

Martin’s asked me to post this: Sorry, giving or asking for medical advice is not permitted on this forum as it’s not what this site is about. While discussing medical insurance policies, cheaper ways to see consultants, cashback for alternative health treatments and how to get specific medication cheaper (legally) are all perfectly acceptable we ask you specifically not to discuss what to do in the event of certain medical problems (please see this rule on the Health Board). If you have any questions about this policy please email abuse@moneysavingexpert.com.
