I'd love to get some extra cash/credit for pressies and so started a pay pal account..
Am I better off selling on ebay (anyone still buys CDs or DVDs?)
or doing the survey sites.
Or is it too late now and I'll never make enough by December?
Also would you buy any clothes online?
I would like to buy my mum a pair of gloves and don't think she'd like anything on the high street.

of course its not too late. anything you can make from now on will be a help.
tbh I find ebay useless. I worked out the other day that if some of my items sold for 99p then I would make 30p after ebay/paypal fees and postage! doesn't really seem worth it... but then it all adds up!
Do you do swagbucks? I can make £25 per month just by getting the daily target, if you set your own targets you could make a lot more.
Yes I buy some clothes online, sizing can be difficult though.0 -
I completely agree with Al1x - never too late to start!
Swagbucks is a great site to earn a few extra pounds, Paypal or Amazon in particular.
I would definitely buy clothes online, new and used, rarely had a problem myself. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

no its not to late!
Swagbucks is a good place to start as you can earn cash and/or vouchers from this. We all have our own targets but do quite afew sites online so I only really get £10 per month from SBs but it all helps towards xmas gifts. Check out the SB page as its a great help:money::rotfl::T0 -
You can make extra money for Xmas via Usborne too, and get some free books in the process, let me know if you want details.0

Xbox games and DVD boxsets sell well on Ebay. I made about £90 last year selling a mixture of those.Because it's fun to have money!
£0/£70 August GC
£68.35/£70 July GC
January-June 2019 = £356.94/£4200 -
It's never too late, you've still got 4 weeks to get a bit of money!
A lot of survey sites I use take a while to build up enough money to cash out (Valued Opinions is really good but postage takes a few weeks, so still worth doing for the future).
As mentioned, Swagbucks is really good - you can get a £5 amazon gift card for around 850 swagbucks (I think?) or save up more to get different vouchers or even Paypal. If you really put some time into it you could get 850 in a few days or if not definitely within a week or two.
Another quick way to get extra money is selling on Facebook/Facebay in your local area - especially if you have items that people would really need to buy this time of year (anything that can be passed on as gifts, Christmas decorations etc.)
Hope it goes well!0
