Please help -How much do A-level grades affect employment

    I would say it depends.

    A lot of the big companies will require certain A-Level grades for their graduate schemes, just as a filtering mechanism. I was rejected from BT's with a first class Computer Science degree, because obviously not having 3 A-C grades at A-levels shows I wasn't really up to it...

    On the other hand some graduate schemes don't care - and most jobs wont care at all - after all if you convinced a Uni to let you do a degree, and then a masters, and then start a PHD you have to be pretty good!
