Hey folks
I'm wanting to get a irish passport as a backup and saw that for UK passports the post office will (for a fee) verify your identity for your application, is this the same for irish passports?

The Passport Express service is now available from 70 branches of the UK Post Office in Northern Ireland and Great Britain . This is a 10 day return service.
Passport application forms may also be obtained from these post offices and you may also submit your application through these post offices for a processing fee of £6. This covers express postage to/from the Passport Office.0
