Hi - I am in the process of selling a house (approx. £140,000) and will not be buying again. I do have a mortgage which will then all be paid off.
Approx how much should I expect to pay for solicitors fees for this (assuming I do actually need one re mortgage).

I remember a friend paying 0.7% of the final sale price +VAT but others may charge differently.0 -
Depends on the area. Outside of Belfast expect to pay about 250-350. It's much cheaper to sell than buy, no searches. Shop around, go for the cheapest local solicitor.0
