Curiously though, it's my understanding that if you're on say a 1-hour contract, then legally they only have to pay you holiday based on having worked 1 hour per week. If you regularly do a lot more it's tough. Bit of a loophole.
I might be wrong though.0 -
not wrong it can make a proper zero hr a better bet.

Well called head office today (Payroll only work teus, weds and thurs), and requested it - was told that if I 'were entitled' to any I will get the cash on Friday - we'll see...
Going to be spitting bullets if it doesn't arrive...

Meh!!!!
Don't think they will be paying me today, as when I called (phone rather than face to face) to ask if the payslips had arrived I was told there wasn't one for me...

Check your bank balance (tomorrow?) to confirm one way or the other if you've been paid or not.
If not, it depends on how far you want to take it as to what you do next.
Small claims court?
If so, fire off a 'letter before action' and give them a month to reply.0 -
I know that you've said that you're not bothered about the deductions they've made for the uniform.
But, as already you're chasing them up over the holiday pay anyway, you might as well get the uniform charges back too.
