Any Morrisons Staff able to explain discount from 15/10/13?

Hi, I have a discount card for Morrisons as my older son works for them part time.

He has recently read a staff notice saying that the discount of 10% is increasing to 15%. I can't get any more information out of him as he is simply not interested in finding out!

Could anyone fill in the gaps for me please?

I believe it's next Wednesday it's 15% discount DAY. They do a few a year.

Ah, thank you! my son thought that Tuesday was 'special' and he seemed to think that new cards were being issued.

The check out lady today thought that it was 15% off for 2 weeks..

How are staff usually notified about things like this?

I think word just passed around from HR and possibly a notice on the notice board?
I'm not certain he just came home and told me last week, will be buying a few birthday goodies. I'll re ask when he is home soon.
There's usually one closer to Christmas too
Would be very good if it was a new 15% off or even for 2 weeks!

Hi,

As someone that is in the KNOW if you get my drift I can tell you that the 15% day is DEFINITELY on TUESDAY 15th October only.Normal coditions apply to the discount card being used (no lottery tickets,cigarettes.petrol etc).

It can be used with any other ongoing offers in the store making some of them very cheap (especially cath city cheese and walkers crisps).It can also be used on the weekly "Wowzer" deal next week whatever that may be (and if they have any left lol).

I'll find out for deffo the rules on the bonus coupon.Dont know whether it has to be £40 spent before or after the discount is applied to get the coupon.If its £40 before you get discount then you might as well just spend £40 and then get discount.Hope this makes sense.I'll post back when I find out for definite.

Morrisons expect their staff to work Boxing day and New Year day this year. The extra 5% discount is the reward.
