Ouch. Just read the reviews, I think that one is a no-go. After having spent -wasted- so much money on toys that I should have known better about in the past (if only I had listened to reviews), I really value the reviews people leave on sites like Amazon; it's good that people care enough to try and warn you!

Best review quotes taken from Amazon:
"My 9 year old daughter won't play with it for fear of getting covered in multi-coloured goo"
"...found the orbeez in the spa in a slimy foul smelling brown puddle of water"
"I would liken it to putting your feet in to a mass of writhing cold slimy worms"
" a complete waste of money, the balls turn to mush and break up in the machine. It's noisy, not at all soothing and just makes a mess - they stick to everything."
"The machine is SO loud its a joke far from relaxing."
"after a couple of days, the balls started disintigrating into mush and it gets everywhere. It sticks to clothes, the carpet, your feet, everything and it wont vac up cos its wet."
"a cascading waterfall it is not, soothing it is not... waste of money it definately is!"

Makes me laugh at the positive reviews, most of which seem to be presents for granddaughters. A case of giving and then retreating quickly from the scene hehehe...

My dd asked for one or her birthday. After reading reviews I said no, she asked why so we read the reviews together. She now says "that's rubbish" every time she sees it on tv or in catalogues.

  • Hi There, I got it last year for my daughter aged 8, she used the thing once and all the balls dried up and couldnt be used again. The thing cost me £30 pounds and to be honest it was the bigest waste of money I have ever spent. I would say go out and buy the kids a real footspa as you can get them for about £10 from Argos :)
  • don't waste your money. bought one for my DD last year absolute rubbish! Balls drop one at a time, half of them are sliced by the wheel and you are left with a pile of mush, my daughter was really disappointed by it. We rinsed the balls after the first use and where left with about a quarter as most as them were in bits.

hmmmm I have a normal foot spa and loads of those water balls in my vase, I am sure I could recreate this effect for less than £20...
