Ceiling pendant light

I am looking for a ceiling pendant light for living room.
One that will take at least 100/150w bulb.
Mother almost blind and needs strong light.
Having trouble finding ceiling light that takes a strong bulb.

Would appreciate your help.

It's difficult for me to make a specific recommendation because there is such a massive range to choose from.

I suggest you get your mum an energy saving daylight bulb. These radiate a lot of light but have a lower wattage which most shades/pendants will be able to cope with.

Amazon have a 25W, equivalent to 100W, bulb for £9.97 including delivery.

These bulbs might be cheaper elsewhere but I haven't looked.
