Energy helpline double quoting discounts
So much for Ofgem claiming clarification. Why is Energyhelpline quoting unit/standing charge prices plus stating there is a discount? Of course the discounts should be included in an annual quote but surely the tariff details should not claim there is a discount plus include that discount in unit prices leaving one to have to spend extra time double checking.
Same with quotes and tariff details from suppliers - eg, npower are claiming standing charge is one thing but that quoted price includes a discount and they also mention the discount separately. It is not immediately clear that the discount is already included.
The three figures should be stated separately.
