Hi Mircea,
I have sent you a PM.
I really do think you have a strong case.
Keep in touch xGone ... or have I?0 -
1. Respondent claims Tribunal should throw claim out as I did not lodge a grievance - I did complain on numerous occasions to my supervisor, fact acknowledged by the later in the section 65 questionnaire I have sent him.
"Complaining on numerous occasions" is not raising a grievance. You must inform the employer in writing that you wish to invoke the grievance machinery.
On several occasions you site "20 wittnesses who can testify". You should establish not so much if they can testify but are they prepared to - there is little pont in having "witnesses" if they won't support your allegations.
Your last sentence shows perhaps a touch of naivety, i'd advise you to seek professional support sooner rather than later....an ET is a formal process and it's imperative you get it right.Consider going along to a hearing to get an idea of the proceedings....if you have a word with the clerk s/he can find you a suitable hearing to sit in on.
Good luck with your claim.Don’t be a can’t, be a can.0 -

Thank you for your reply. I think you are actually missing the point of my claim. I am not after money but after an apology and some changes in the company which would prevent other people from being discriminated against. It is not therefore "imperative" that I get the ET process right, it is simply about standing up to something wrong and trying to make it right. Of course it would be nice if I won, but unfortunately unlike my employer I cannot afford a high flying lawyer - I was working for £150 per week after all. The simple fact I took this action has already triggered positive changes in my old working place, or so my old colleagues tell me.
Naive? Maybe. However if everyone would act with honesty, integrity, honour, selflessness, bravery and dignity rather than consider these things naive, for sure, we as a species would live a much better life. Don't you think so?
Best regards,
Mircea0
