First Anniversary Gift Ideas?

I think the first anniversary gift is traditionally paper - any ideas?
I havent seen the house, so dont know if paper lampshades are appropriate.
I'd rather get them a joint pressie than his and hers, e.g. diaries/notebooks, etc.
They dont send letters ever, so writing paper is out!
Help!!

What about a paper cut? I do them as a hobby and are really in at the moment I've done quite a few wedding ones
This is one I did in June https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=586878311375276&set=a.105669062829539.8512.100001593378177&type=1&theater

Some friends gave us a canvas print gift - was lovley.
We blew up a photo of everyone at our wedding, loads of people comment on it & try to spot themselves in it.0 -
I put an anniversary notice in the paper. Still got it somewhere. Also bought some of his fave books too.
How about a guide book? Uk walks, coastal walks, good pub guide. If they live in or near London there's some great 'hidden london' books. Or tickets to a show/event/cinema trip?Cross Stitch Cafe Monthly Challenge Member #27

A friend of mine got a personalised animation movie for her anniversaries... It's a new app or something that helps you make it in like 10 min.
It's on youtube...
"Debbie & Dave's animated Cadaboo wedding movie"
the app is called Cadaboo
good luck0 -
How about tickets to something they would both enjoy? Concert/theatre etc. I know they don't get to keep the 'paper', but it's better than giving them a present they're never going to make use of!0

A book of some description - travel guide or similar
Photo Album
Tickets for something
Framed first Dance Lyrics
A personalised Moonpig/funky pigeon card
On this day scroll (For the date of their wedding - can get on e-bay)
Or this book (Lovely idea I think)
