Aldi Essentials Baked Beans

If anyone has tried Aldi's Essentials Baked Beans @ 25p a tin, can they say what they thought of them. I know it's subjective. My favourite ones are Branston which I think are going to be £1.25 x 4 tomorrow at Lidl. They were really good when £1. Thanks.

Have used them. I have not bought 'branded' beans in years but thought these were better than the value ones in other supermarkets. I prefer to splash out the extra few pence and get the Corale (I think) brand in Aldi as they work great for the price.0

My hubby is really fussy with baked beans and only likes Bransons too..... however he likes aldi corale baked beans which are 33p each but not the essentials. The corale ones are such good value and the best tasting cheap beans and I have tried qiite a few to appease his tastebuds!
Hope that helpsSecond Purse Challenge

Economy type tins of beans just have extra water added to them.
For the sake of two or three pence you might just as well buy Aldi's Corale baked beans which are the equivalent of Branston.0 -
i buy them and like them but im not fussy about beans and always buy the cheapest...worth a go for 25p you could always use them up in a chillionwards and upwards0

Try them, we think they are better than Heinz. My kids didn't spot the difference!0

Beans are just beans to me, always go for the 25p tins whatever the label. Can't afford to be picky.

I like Branston too and haven't seen a 4 for £1 offer in ages. If you have a Farmfoods near you they've been on sale at 3 for £1 for a while. Not quite as good as Lidl but the best 'regular' price I know of.0 -
Lidl's ones are better than Aldi's corale ones. Superb.PK! :money:0
