One question here though is that the Staff facilities have a separate qualification process - since the bank would have already known much about you.. So rather than it being a one-off failure on there part.. You would be implying that all such staff facilities were not enforceable,, so if you were successful the ramifications would be quite major!

Its also quite common with such staff perks that such facilities may then need paying off were you to then leave there employment.. So it may be that such terms were covered in your Employment Contract? - I know this is the case with Travel \ Season passes..

Maybe that may cover or define how such agreements were entered into.

you sign with an E-signature, the default was already on my file when i got my job, it was on there when they done their credit checks and it was fine. Defaults and missed payments are not going to get u sacked from your job within the financial services, a CCJ may impact on your ability to give financial advice but i doubt it. bankruptcy may well get you in a spot of bother, but i know someone who does the same job as me that had to register herself bankrupt after a divorce that left her incapable of paying for her home, and she is still working here doing the exact same role.
So it does appear that even the lower levels of the financial services industry is staffed by dishonest crooks.
  • Since the financial meltdown in 2008 staff are being trained and retrained especially when it comes to sell products on behalf of the bank to customers.
I have seen some of this training - part of which is giving the bank the right to conduct a credit search on you.

I can't comment on the types of jobs being done by previous comments.

Please don't judge an entire, huge industry by the worst examples of people within it. You don't judge all mothers from Baby P's mother, or all doctors by the worst of the bunch, so why assume or imply (as the "even" above does) that we are all dishonest.

Our registration depends heavily on showing an extremely clean background, and it's quite unpleasant reading ignorant comments such as the above, when I come on here to help people.
