Ok, so I've just started my journey back to financial control and Im really happy to announce what seems like a genuine change in my attitude towards money.
I've been trying to get my grocery bills down as much as possible, and I mean cost me only what I can afford and no more. I got really
at Lidl's .79p chicken kievs but I also got  at a cherry pie I got for £1 when it was at Aldi's for .89!!!
This was the first time had a honest emotional reaction to spending and saving, and for me thats brilliant. I'm making it into a game where the less I spend, the better it is. Well done, sounds like a good start. There are some good threads to challenge yourself for No Spend days and grocery cost cutting on the old style board & food and grocery board. Keep posting your progress as it might help give you a boost and tips for fellow msers.0
