Thank you. The bag at the front was made from leftover Laura Ashley Austen fabric that I had used for curtains. The gingham is from a Laura Ashley table cloth that got damaged so I cut it up. The other two are made from a piece of hessian/burlap that I recently got on Ebay for £3.99 inc. p&p. It was quite wide and should make around 6 bags. The tartan was from Ebay too. I bought a selection of tartan remnants from a kilt makers. I have made other things like doorstops with some of the pieces (last year). I particularly like the red one (Royal Stuart I think).
I think the one with hessian on the outside, tartan inside feels best as using hessian as a lining is quite stiff but I like both really. I want to practice making scrunchies to close them up as putting in casing for the drawstrings can be fiddly and hessian frays easily.
I intend to fill them with The White Company "Winter" fragrance pot pourri as I bought a huge bag which can easily be shared between 3 fabric bags.
Hope that helps.0
