Juicing

Anyone do this with fruit and vegetables and how do you use it for meal replacements? I'm just worried about the taste of drinking it, but can you make it sweet and not a chore to drink?

If it's not a chore to drink then you're as well downing fizzy pop.

we have been juicing for 30 years and own a green life juicer. We don`t juice fruit, except for adding apple to various veggie juices. Carrot will add sweetness and so will a bit of beetroot (all raw btw) celery adds liquid and a taste of salt. Green juices are a difficult taste so we only add a touch of gree now and then ie a bit of broccoli perhaps. We never meal replace with juices as juice does not have the fibre so essential for health

If you want sweet juice from fruit then add pineapple but I would forget it and eat the whole fruit in moderation as fruit contains loads of sugar

Very useful post this. I'm 4 days into a 5 day juice only plan, then aiming to include juice in a balanced diet so this is useful info, i'll save it somewhere :)
