3 Accounts-Which One Is Best For Me? I'm Really Confused!!

Hi Guys!
Right, basically I need some advice from you wonderful people:D
I am currently with the Woolwich but with their closure iminent, I am looking to change banks. Barclays have offered me a full account the same as I currently have but no saving pots which I need. I have called them and they suggested opening seperate saving accounts...I really cant be bothered with that.
I have just been accepted for a Premier current account with A&L(Visa debit/chequebook), have a Citibank full bank account (cheque guarantee etc)with OH and an A&L current account (electron & chequebook)shared with OH.
ATM I run everything through my Openplan Woolwich account and move the money accordingly. I dont really fund the Citibank or the other joint A&L account.
Does anyone have any experiance of switching accounts with either of these 2 banks?
I also receive Direct Payments from my council to pay for help I need with personal care. This is about £265pcm. Thinking of using the joint A&L with electron/chequebook for this as I mainly write cheques to pay for care. I need to keep this completely seperate from other accounts as I need to keep receipts/cheque stubs etc etc.
So basically, I need to either use the A&L Premier or the Citibank current account for everything else. I will have around £1000pm going through this account. The A&L Premier is only in my name and with me being disabled, this could cause problems as OH cant use the card unless he draws cash out I suppose in an emergency he could use it as it only has initial and surname and he would know my pin The Citibank account is joint with full banking but TBH Ive heard some funny stories and really dont know if they are reliable?
Also, do either A&L or Citibank have savings pots I could link to the main account? I have around 4 that I need to organise each month.
Apologies if this is all confusing but hopefully you can make some sense of it:D
Thanks in advance.

I don't have any experience of citibank or A&L but Intelligent Finance allow you to have as many savings pots as you like. Part of HBOS and they give an ok rate on their current account too.
You could open this in joint names but have pots in your own name if you preferred and still access them all with one login (your OH would only see the current account if savings were in your name).0
