Sherry Trifle, how much sherry?

I am making individual sherry trifles and was wondering how much sherry to put into each individual trifle. The sherry is 17%.

Should I put in one teaspoon, 1 tablespoon or what?

Just enough to soak the sponges. You don't want too much as it can be overpowering.

Oh and have a glass yourself while making it. ;)

I am thankful for all the responses, although it sounds like I am not when I say we don't eat this and we don't drink!! :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

We are not fussy eaters, we just eat a plain diet.

THANKS for all the responses though. :j
