Always use Karl. Never had a problem0

I've used Karl for last few years and always had very good customer service from them. I travel with a disabled sister and their drivers are very considerate towards her.
Got this e-mail this afternoon so thought I'd share here by way of information.
News from Karl Airport Parking (9th October 2013)
You will most likely be aware of publicity in the media over the last few months regarding planning difficulties that Karl Airport Parking has had with the DoE.
Although adverse publicity has been generated by the press we are very pleased to say that on 4th October 2013 the High Court quashed the Planning Appeals Commission’s decision to uphold the DoE’s Enforcement Notice and the matter will now go back for a new Appeal.
Therefore, we thought it appropriate to confirm that Karl Airport Parking continues to be open for business and will continue to provide a more convenient and competitively priced car parking alternative to Belfast International Airport’s virtual monopoly on location and price that would otherwise exist.
We would also take this opportunity to confirm that we will continue to challenge any attempts to stop us providing the service and choice that our existing customers and all members of the public rightly deserve.
Karl Airport Parking would like to thank you for using our car park and look forward to your continued custom. We will be grateful if you can pass this message on to your friends, family and colleagues.

Obviously the BBC etc didn't think it newsworthy enough to publish the above very good news for travellers! :j :j0

Still doesn't have planning permission no matter what they say and considering the parking is a "cash cow" for a once great property developer, they would try to keep it going - wouldn't they?
Personally I wouldn't park a dinky toy there.0 -
Is there a big difference in price between KARL and the others compared to the Official Long Stay booked on line?0

Hey G.A. - are you known as Drumlough on Tripadvisor, or have Karl just emailed everyone on the same day?0

I also got the mailshot, but would be wary of using them until this is resolved. You never know what tricks insurers will use to get out of paying out if something did happen your vehicle while parked thereNorn Iron Club Member No. 252 :beer:0

Exactly. Why take the risk. The site is still operating without planning consent.0 -
Airparks (Quidco) are giving back 10% on booking the long stay at the airport. Paid the £34.99 for a week and got £6.30 back. Tracked immediately and confirmed 28 days after.
Charging the same price (£34.99) as booking direct.0
