Does anyone miss old charity shops?

my mum used to rely on charity shops to cloth us when my dad wasn't working and now clothes are cheaper in primark! its turned into a big business and whilst i agree with helping charities i wish they would also help people on low income. I object to the prices in some charity shops and give all my 2nd hand clothes away to friends who are not working.0

When we were younger my mum used to kit us out from charity shops, absolutely everything we had, clothes, books, toys etc, now it doesn't pay at all. When I was pregnant I looked in my local charity shops and their baby clothes were more expensive than high street stores.
I'll never forget the last time I visited my local cancer research store, they were selling a dress which still had the price tag on, and were trying to charge £5 more!! I walk past it nowdays0 -
There are around 10 where I live and only one local one is worth going to where I have regularly bought Monsoon and White Stuff clothes for around £5. :T0
