Remortgage headache!

Anyone else got a headache from trying to remortgage?!

Lots of choice it appeared but what a nightmare! In end didn't really have much choice.

I'm with Santander and their best rates are for new customers! Higher rates for us existing ones! Quick, easy but although arrangement fees are disclosed other fees weren't mentioned if when I asked what if any other charges there were. Seems they don't see legal as another 'fee' I might need to know about!

Even worse when I looked around and so confusing when you scratch the surface. I also seem to be penalised because I want to borrow £48000 which is low apparently!

Rant over!

If you remain with your existing lender. Then you are not remortgaging merely switching product.
