Stansted airport

Options
I need a one way ticket Stansted - central London. Ideally I'd love to travel by train. Is there any chance that I can get discounts / bargains / offers? :j
Have a really good day

A ticket on the day is £23.40

If you buy an anytime single from Audley End to Liverpool Street it's £19.60.You can start your journey short at Stansted

Your airline may be selling tickets on board - maybe at a discount, maybe at a premium
  • thanks a lot - very helpful
I might check with Ryanair - it's the company I'm flyiing with - but I think they don't have any premium
    Hope for some discounts :)

Martin's article on cheap train tickets.

Personally I always go through TopCashBack to RedSpottedHanky, and book in advance!

I don't know the sites you mentioned: are they helpful? I see that the Stansted Express always cost the same (actually is more thant £20!!) i'm not sure you can get any better even if you book in advance
    £20 is a lot

Martin's article on Cashback sites. TopCashBack is one of them, I find it really really easy to use. I search for Red Spotted Hanky, login there with the same email address as I use for TCB, and get cash back on my train ticket. If there are any cheaper tickets, it's likely RSH will have them.

  • Why it needs to be a train?
National Express coaches are great when needed to get to London from Stansted for many people.
Coach travel average 20-30 minutes longer than train but for a ticket you will pay tenner!
    I would go this way...
  • I know but I prefer the train in geeneral :")
