I trust the Nationwide search and their DIP is very reliable.

Halifax MP is unreliable, especially with historic adverse at a previous address. However, I'm encouraged by the pass with Nationwide and I'd be surprised if you failed with Halifax.

How long since the Halifax DIP was done? They've recently started asking for the equity loan to be included in affordability at 3%, same as Nationwide...

As long as it's an address given as part of his three year address history, it should be fine.

If he has more than three, the fourth has to be credit checked manually, as Halifax system can't cope with more. The case may go to "refer" when it's first submitted, as a result.

This is usually just a formality, but you need to know that might be the case.

We're specialist newbuild brokers and are on the panel of Orbit, the HCA HomeBuy Agent for the West Midlands and East, so I do stuff like this all the time. I was just curious about the shared equity scheme you're using.
