I have a 5kg of oat bran and lots and lots of flaked coconut, 10k oats and a lot of flaked/ground almonds. I've been making my own bounty bars very successfully but I need to start making healthy snacks for the family.
I don't know what to do with the Oat Bran!

If you make bread you can add it into your mix. I used to use it along with a few other ingredients to make a sort of wholemeal low-carb loafOver futile odds

you can sprinkle oatbran into soups, casseroles & stews, porridge, muesli or mix it into crumble toppings0

you can use it to make a porridge - substitute oat bran for oatmeal in your favourite recipe
or the Dukan galette http://www.dukandietmeals.co.uk/recipes/oat-bran/oat-bran-galette
Morningflake has recipes which you can specify oatbran as the main ingredient http://www.mornflake.com/recipes.aspx?altTemplate=RecipeSearch&mainIngredient=850 -

I love porridge made with oat bran. I use 40g of oat bran with 200 ml of milk (I like to use almond milk) a teaspoon of sweetener and whatever fruit I have lying about, this morning it was a plum. Microwave for a couple of mins, stirring half way through and leave it for a minute or so for the grains to fluff up, a bit like cous cous.0
