BT Sport 1 free on Freeview for two weeks

On the weeks beginning October 7 and October 14, the channel will be available to watch for free on Freeview channel 57.

On top of this, Freeview viewers along with Sky, Virgin Media and BT TV customers who aren’t already subscribing to BT Sport will get the channel free across on the weekend beginning October 26

I tried at 6.15pm yesterday and the BT Sport channels listed on Freeview were showing as encrypted stations, expect for the BT Sport Preview channel which was just showing rolling adverts for BT Sport.

I'll try after 7pm today. Do we know what time the free viewing ends or just that it starts at 7pm?

Cheers for this OP. Just checked and we can get it on our TalkTalk YouView box. Is it just me or is it only on for 4 hours a night?!

Between the original post and my post yesterday someone posted a link to an article saying it would be free after 7pm each weekday for 2 weeks but that post has vanished.
