How long usually before Aldi reduce their special buys?

I've got my eye on a garden shredder in Aldi...both local Aldis still have quite a few in stock, don't seem to be moving and they have been around for just over a month...
At £119 it is a good price for that kind of (quiet) shredder - but ...just a wee bit more than I want to spend ...if they reduce it by £20 - or maybe even £10 I'm having one...looking at past reviews people have picked these kind up (from Aldi and other places) on special offers for £90-£100.
I've had one of the (cheaper) impact type before (second hand) - mainly for my compost but it was so noisy (and a bit useless) I never used it - now have a much bigger garden so think it might be worth risking £100 trying a quieter one to help compact waste for disposal /use for mulch...
(My problem here is a bad experience with a loft access kit for my new house ...from B&Q (did check out other suppliers too!) - read reviews some a couple of years old of people getting them for £100 - so I kept an eye on them for the best part of a year - they were £150 - twice reduced to £130 but never less - decided that that must be the best price I could get now, bought one, got it fitted - a month or so later walking past and noticed they were selling for £100! -gutted!:( )
So does anyone have any idea how long it usually is before things appear in their reduced section?
I haven't binned my garden waste (small branches) for almost 2 weeks - since bin was last emptied - just in case - about to fill the bin up now with as much as I can to be emptied on Wed ...maybe I should - so as soon as I do it sod's law says they will be reduced!

Ime they do not seem to reduce items that are in as specials. Sometimes they will appear again later on as reduced.
May be worth asking one of the staff if they are willing to drop the price?Back on the trains again!0 -
Thanks - don't know if I will have much luck but might be worth asking...
My other half goes past one Aldi everyday and often pops in - he is under strict instructions to grab one if they are reduced ...but I'm guess I am not the only one holding off for a price drop ...and they will fly out when they are...not holding out much hope!
Oh well - I don't NEED one anyway....0 -
Back with an update... Didn't manage to get it for less -but crumbled and got it at £119. My partner did ask in the shop but they wouldn't budge and our other local aldi had sold out)
Personally I think it is fantastic and well worth the money...
Without it I realsied I was going to need a skip (or do countless 12mile round trips to the waste depot) but I've managed to get it all into my normal garden waste collections (a couple of wheelie bins full and used as mulch). I would have to mess anyway to save the bigger branches for burning so not that much more work than chucking in a skip and my solar panels meant it was done using free electricity...
I also lent it to a neighbour doing a big clear up, they had filled their skip and thought they were going to have to order another one ...with the shredder they managed to get it all in the one skip (he was giving his bigger branches/stumps for my wood burner anyway - and thought one good turn and all that)
It is quiet and quite efficient and I'm pleased with it (B&Q equivalent one is in sale for £130 - probably will go lower but I really needed to start getting rid one way or another )0
