I think it was definitely an error in pricing as it was save £71 and on sale at £9. Should possibly have been save £9 or something like that. I tried to add one to my basket and the wheel went round for ages and then it flashed on the screen as £70 then disappeared. I think it might have been the Terrain Sierra 20" which is now showing at £60. Didn't think I would get one as once a few people try I think it would flag as something wrong with pricing. I have been told they could yet cancel the order??!!! Did your sister get hers through to " dispatched" as apparently that's where it's a definite????
Does anyone else know if tesco can cancel this??
Yes they can cancel it and they will. They never tend to honour wrongly priced items.0 -
I've read over and over again they make the " mistake" of msipricing but surely trading standards should have something to say??0

It would be looked at as a invitation to treat. A customer offers Tesco £9 for the bike. They have not dispatched the goods yet, so a contract has not been formed. Tesco upon dispatch have accepted the invitation to treat offer and the contract is formed.0 -
