  • In terms of psychology, I know people who have studied it online, and I've studied it at undergrad level. In terms of future prospects, an undergrad degree alone in this area will not equip you to work in any psychology field as a psychologist - for this you need MSc, and increasing doctorate level qualifications, experience in clinically relevant settings/research/AP experience all of which are very competitive. The Leeds Clearing House process all applications for the clinical doctorate in psychology (the only route to train as a clinical psychology, this link will give you some idea of the numbers applying and entry requirements http://www.leeds.ac.uk/chpccp/BasicNumbers.html

    However, lots of people use a degree in this area to work more widely in the helping professions, or as a springboard to other non clinical roles
