Hi
Not sure if this is the right place to ask this - but here goes anyway.
I am currently in a DMP and on it are 2 catalogues. Opened in the 1990's. What I wanted to know is can I go down the unenforcable route with them?
If I do, will it compromise my DMP at all?
I am currently looking at al accounts I have got or have had in the last few years and am looking at claiming back charges and if I had ppi at all. Started looking after receiving a CPP letter a few weeks ago.
Sorry for rambling on a bit, but I am committed to paying off what I owe and if I can get anything back to throw at them, all the better.
Thanks

You certainly can CCA them to see what they have.
Such a common thing to do, that National Debtline even have a separate factsheet on it.
See ---> http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/england_wales/factsheet.php?page=32_catalogue_debts
Some DMP companies can get snotty and refuse to remove debts from a DMP just because they may be unenforceable, but I think a few others have managed to in some cases?
Regardless, depending on what they have you might be able to get excellent leverage to negotiate a low settlement, interest charges suspended if they are not already etc.

Not much chance of a valid agreement. Likely that while you are paying them, they will mess you around and not really supply anything or respond to you.:beer:0
