Google Mortgage Compare

Is Google's Mortgage Compare tool a good reflection of what I will be offered if I were to go to the bank or mortgage brooker? Or is it all false hopes where the mortgages they say exist don't actually exist when you go to the banks?
Thanks

Have a look on the websites of the lenders concerned and see if the products do exist.I am a mortgage broker. Just had a quick look. Some details are missing. For example, it states a mortgage fee of 499 for some of Barclay's fixed rates but that's only available to certain Barclay's current account holders.0

The deals should be fairly accurate, but there will be times where some of those deals have been pulled or are only available to certain people (existing customers, people who live in certain areas etc).
That (and any comparison site) basically gives you an idea of what is available, not what your eligible for. So always make sure you check criteria before making an application.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
