Cycle insurance

I've tried doing a search on this site and were swamped with motor cycle insurance results. I've also tried the broker who deals with my house insurance who had no clue where to start.
Does anyone have cycle insurance to cover them if they are injured & for loss or damge to thier bike plus damage to others? I don't have any responsibilities so I don't want an expensive personal insurance policy with death benifits, just something to cover a few months living costs & legal fees if required.
Cycleguard,
ETA
E & L
Velosure
Cyclosure
Endsleigh
The above crop up. Has anyone tried to claim from any of them?
It did occur to me to put this in the insurance section, but I doubt there are many cyclists lurking there.

Membership of British Cycling, the CTC or LCC should give you 3rd party cover, along with legal assistance too which will help out on the road. About £30 annually.
If you want theft cover then some home insurance providers cover bikes away from home if locked. It's only numbers.0 -
Thanks. It mostly paying the mortgage if I hurt myself badly with an uninsured driver, and cover if I hurt others. I'll check out thier websites in the morning.0
