Tax Return/Repayment question

in Cutting tax
I originally posted this in the wrong forum I think so re posting here:
I recently got made redundant from my employment.
I completed a tax return and got re reimbursed money due to being under the amount of money earned before you need to pay tax. I completed this as I had been planning to leave the country and did not think I would be getting further employment in the UK - certainly for the remainder of the tax year.
My circumstances have now changed and I will need to look for work again in the UK.
What happens with my tax situation. I will obviously have to repay the reimbursement they sent me if I start earning again in the UK.
Will they just take the full amount of my first months wage or do they take my normal tax amount from each wage + a little extra to make up for the re reimbursed money?
Thanks
Steve
