Freezer help please

Hello :hello:
My freezer has a fault and the bottom drawer keeps freezing up, as in welding the drawer to the inside and forming a solid ice block.
I cannot afford to replace at the moment so I was wondering if there was anything I could wipe the inside of the freezer with to stop the drawer freezing to the sides?
Long shot I know!
Many thanks in advance

Do you defrost the freezer at all. Regular defrosting removes moisture and ice build up.0

There must be some moisture to be able to freeze.
See if defrosting it helps at all.make the most of it, we are only here for the weekend.
and we will never, ever return.0 -
It is supposed to be frost free. The door seals have gone and it fills up with ice very quickly but only the bottom drawer.
It is unplugged now and I am defrosting it but want to stop it happening again if possible.0 -
I would just remove the drawer and use the space as a shelf ..... in fact, I did just that for a long time coz my drawer-front kept falling off0
