I only use my Twitter account for weekly Friday Twitter comps and rafflecopters. I have won a fair few rafflecopter comps so my account has helped me in that way. I never used to have much luck winning Twitter comps, hence why I cut right down.
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea

14.849 Tweets and probably no more than half a dozen small wins, but it's such a quick way of entering that I shall keep going. Just wish I didn't have to keep unfollowing people so that I can follow new ones.

That would drive me potty. I go through mine occasionally, maybe once ever couple of years, where I unfollow most. I know I risk disqualifying myself from a few recently entered comps, but it's worth it to keep the numbers down. Then I start building it up again.

Twitter comps are my favourite. Haven't won loads, but I have won a few times, including at least one big-ish win (electric guitar). But as Kisto said, they're so quick and easy to do.

Wish Katie had won more from them. Seems a bit unfair after sharing so many with us :o

  • 4300 tweets and 4 prizes!

lol odds are stacked against us!

I like twitter competitions though because they are so easy to enter.

The interesting thing is, someone has once posted on here their entries to wins ratio...and I also know from when I used to log all the competitions I entered.... that you win roughly 1 in every 2000 competitions entered (although it is down to luck of course)! So I'd say you've done alright with your 4 wins!

Tweeting is the simplest and quickest way to comp too!

That was what I thought when I saw the OP, surely that's an acceptable comps to win ratio? :o I've just checked and I've tweeted 2,381 times (including non comp tweets) and I've won 5 prizes using Twitter so I am actually pretty thrilled with that! Doesn't feel great at the time when you do what feels like thousands on a Friday and don't win a sausage but that ratio is great!

I'm saying goodbye to Twitter because they've reset my password for the seventh time in a week and now it's really !!!!ing me off.

Yeh it is a pain having to go through your followers & unfollow some, had to do this the other day

Aww wish I did too Blu haha :rotfl: TBF though I don't enter all of the ones I post :p

I do love TW comps though as they are so easy to enter, that's why they are getting more & more popular I think :)

i've never used twitter and never would.
  • Hey you can't give up one of the good sources and social media site, because you haven't won.
  • 15.4k tweets! But I have won 15 times, my best win so far was on twitter. A very expensive camera. I know it's disheartening, atm it seems like the same people are winning everything. And I have found with some company's on there that people who are also in the 'industry' win a fair amount of competitions. But keep at it, you never know :)
Thank you to all the posters
