When ever my grandpa is asked what he would like for birthday/Christmas he always replies 'an empty box'. Can anyone think of any kind of poem I could give with an empty box at all? He's not really the mushy type for the box filled with love and kisses thing
Best wins in 2013 £200 and Mini iPad. 2014 no wins. 2015 2 nights 5* hotel with £300 vouchers plus £1150 Harrods gift card

Vicky, I was just doodling, and I made this up....
"I thought of socks,
I thought of jocks,
But being wily like a fox,
I got you this great empty box,
And it rocks!"
Happy Christmas Granpa!0 -
It won't be empty if you put a poem inside...
Simply put a label on the empty (but beautifully wrapped) box saying 'For Someone who has Everything'“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -
Last year I filled a brown square cardboard box with rice then wrapped a nice thick red ribbon around it into a bow and wrote this poem on a piece of card and slotted it through the ribbon:
This is a very special gift
That you can never see.
The reason it's so special is,
It's just for you from me.
Whenever you are happy,
or even feeling blue.
You only have to hold
this gift and know
I think of you.
You never can unwrap it
Please leave the ribbon tied.
Just hold the box close
to your heart,
It's filled with love inside.
I gave it my other half as a little prezzie from our little boy and he loved it!0
