No Sound on You Tube

Can anyone please advise. There's no sound from You Tube. It's not my speakers as I get sound from my media player. I've tried clicking on the speaker icon, there is a "x" next to it, but nothing happens. Need to learn a new song and it's difficult without sound.

seems to be muting for everybody. the X means the volume is turned right down, slide it back up0
