Moving house - Does anyone know?..

Sorry this is probably the wrong place to post but i was wondering if anyone could help or knew something...

I've been entering comps for a couple of month now, and i'm moving house next week - and was wondering although i'm getting post re-directed to my new house -this is only royal mail, so will not include things like parcel force ect...

So was wondering, where you have had a prize just turn up who is it usually with?
Or when you win do they tend to email you first before they send it out?
Or has anyone else moved house and had post re-directed and had the same problem?.

Its annoying as i know a lot of comps the closing dates are not for another few months, and really annoying to think that if i was to win something i wont recieve it!

The comps iv won so far i have just recieved letters in the post (which shud be fine with re-directing,) But as i said its just the off chance of a parcel turning up ?

So if anyone could shed any light on this??

Does anyone know what i could do to make sure everything would be forwarded to me?

Thanks in advance :)

Id say thats a problem as stuff can just turn up unannounced by various courier, very rare but from reading posts on here it does happen, the only thing you can do is say to the new owners that "you have ordered loads of stuff" with moving house etc your not sure if the suppliers have changed your details and if anything should turn up to call you on xxxx. If you tell them the truth they might keep the stuff and you would never know i guess..

Nothing you can do now apart from presume you didn't win,,,,,,,or trust the new people will contact you.

In hindsight when you started thinking of moving, until you knew where you were going you should have given your address as at a trusted friend or relatives house.

yep I'm afraid mostof the time competition wins just turn up without warning. If they have your phone number they might contact you but if not I'm afraid that you might have to let any wins go.
