I just said to DS2... don't think much of her singing, to be told that she is a famous singer!

    Feeling very old!

Poor savvy :( hope you are ok. I ram trolley in them accidently of course ;) :rotfl::rotfl:

:T I'm glad for some sympathy.

    :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Just so disastrous it's funny!

Just illustrates exactly how not to shop, in a store, rushed before closing, and at a busy time with loads of customers in the store (increasingly difficult in the run-up to Christmas).

I think I'll just stick to "browsing" in M on Wednesdays next time!:rotfl:

Even more bad luck now, as APG site not retrieving any details for me, seems to be on go-slow and crashed.

    Grrr!!
Three pence APG and no comp. at all vs W. Despite the Strawberry Cornetto showing £1.75 vs £1.00 on msm. Worst I've ever done on an 'APG' shop - but, for what it's worth, the 10pack Bird's Eye Veg Fingers are a trigger that doesn't appear on the APG.

Meant to get Bramley cooking apple. SP Mousse comparing vs 18p to M (even though I saw M at over 50p on theirs last time), but no real use at all due to useless amount of APG! SP Shampoo comparing vs half of M's price on its 1L one (technical glitch as should be non-comp.). Not that it matters.

No explanation for the lack of comp. vs W as just says N/A under it with a star and doesn't let me click for any details. And the Granny Smith would have been better vs T or S:(:rotfl: (at 25p) on their very expensive price per g. loose Granny Smiths. Even lost 10p to the unnecessary (as it turned out) White Mouse. And no mention of the SP Dishbrush (25p) that I suspected would be a no-show and not go to the 8 (but testing to see if could use it as filler on later shop too) due to being a 'home accessories' item. Wanted 10 Veg Fingers pack and either Del Monte Orange Lollies or R White Lemonade ones. Neither of those two available.

    Why £0.03?

I really should have stopped on not finding any Kale at the outset and gone home!! And thus done neither of the two following shops, one of which I suspect is another disaster.:rotfl:

The bramley apples compared very well yesterday against Waities.
    Nothing is comparing today.

And the christmas market in York is lovely :) bit of a theme going on here :D

Can you tell I like christmas markets :)

They had a European one in Leeds and it was very good. Mind you, I think it was just another excuse for a booze up as they sold shed loads of beer there.

we have harvey nics and selfridges.:p:rotfl:

Well we have a Harvey Nichols and a Poundland in the same line. Beat that if you can! LOL.

Right of course, Leeds centre is better but not been for a while

No, Leeds has gone down the shitter now. It's getting more and more empty. Every store has more or less moved into Trinity and the city centre is just a lot of empty shops now.

Is Trinity close to the train station? We keep going through Leeds, only been once, big cities a bit daunting.

Chester and York are our ideal sized cities :)

It's about a 5 minute walk. Not far at all. Straight out of the train station, turn right, walk until the end of the street, cross over and there you are.

I do like York. Only ever been to Chester once but it was lovely. Isn't that where they do Hollyoaks?
  • Thank you :A:)

We are going up on 26th oct so dont think the Christmas markets are gonna be up and running yet :( or is it a normal all year round market?

    I can do chavvy :p

It's an organised coach trip to Manchester, otherwise Leeds would be top of the list

  • I finally gave in today and had a bit of a play with the 3 for £10 Xmas choccies.

All my purchases were successful until I tried with the Ferrero cones. Sel said £5.63, shelf said 3 for £10, till said £5. Paid £15 and went to CS to query. CS said Ferrero not in offer and was so nice I didn't want to argue.

Swapped the cone for the whisky collection, got a £5 refund and a £6.40 apg. All good, however for some reason the cone is not in the offer in my A?:huh:
