It might not seem like much comfort now, however trust me, it will get better.
I lost my FIL in March and at the time I was devastated. Time is a great healer though, and now, 6 months later I can look back and celebrate what a wonderful man he was.
In time, you will come to appreciate that you and your family got to spend the last few days of his life with him and he would have left you knowing how much you loved, valued and appreciated him.
Now, emotions are raw, but trust me, in time, you as a family will remember him fondly and realise what a blessing he was to you.
What a lovely message this has brought tears to my eyes but so true.
Take care Mhoc xxWe're just happy to have a home, a family and our health. Whatever else is just added and it fits.0 -

I've just been invited to join a bzzz campaign for FINEST CHOCOLATE! made my grumpy week end with a smile I can tell you
Me too! Very excited as I only signed up this week! Looking forward to participating.
I would like to thank everyone for posting all the great deals and glitches, and after many years of struggling financially, I am beginning to feel that things are starting to look up for us, so thanks to everyone on the ELITE.:)SPC 11 #4450 -
A new thread and already 20 pages - is there a big glitch on, not shopped properly in over a week so no hope of ever catching up.
my week was dreadful so I need virtual hugs if anyone has spares
Eldest child has worked frantically for weeks for interviews for a new work placement - 2 days notice to do a presentation, group interview and then a trip to London. Then she got an email from her boss, all new work placements canceled - she is devastated. It would have meant an extra £4 grand a year and they could have started saving to get married and a house deposit
Eldest son went off on his tour on Thursday, 6 months without leave, very miserable to see him go but at least he seems to have good wi fi so we have skyped. Counting the days already.
Worst of all my Dad went into hospital for a weeks investigation, he looked so much better this week, fully awake, eye contact, listening, taking notice and taking part in conversations onWednesday and Thursday. But On Sunday morning he had his porridge and pills and then his breathing changed and he just slipped away before any of us could reach the hospital. So we have a funeral to go to on Tuesday.
Anyway I am trying to regain something like normality, eldest daughter was home for a few days, youngest son home this weekend so at least we have not been on our own.
Sleep seems to the hardest thing to tackle at the moment.
next week will be better I hope.
Big hugs indeed from me:A. So sorry to hear this news, it happens though:(. Stay close to your family, you need each other at this time. Eat well and look after yourselves.

Hey all,
So amazed with all of the donations, my phone has been pinging with notifications all eveningThe Elite are definitely a special bunch of people :T:T:T
Had planned a relaxed evening after the chaos of today. DH down the pub again  However, have not had a second to myself since DH went out. Don't know if it's the jabs yesterday making them unsettled but neither of the boys sleeping well. Have had them both screaming most of the evening. DS1 went down about an hour ago and baby H finally flaked out in the middle of the living room carpet in the last 10 minutes. Will let him get properly asleep then move him up. So having a quick cheeky glass of bubbles in the mean time:D
Really sorry to hear mhoc's sad news. Sending love and hugs x♥ Worrying does not empty tomorrow of it's troubles.... it empties today of it's strength ♥0 -
Seems I'm on a dodgy internet connection tonight (already had to reset it four times) - so, apologies if I disappear for a few moments again and dealing with 'go-slows'.
Are the 'half price' Nestle Dairy Boxes in T really 400g (as stated on t.com), or are they in fact 360g? If anyone does need to do an online shop and wants to order them and complain loudly (to parts of T where you are not already on the radar) if the weight on t.com is in fact misleading. If T is 360g, I need them, for my own reasons, to change their website to the correct weight sharpish. TIA.
