Sweetheart I can tell you that this is so common - no wonder women of a certain age start to look downtrodden.

Teenagers have the ability to push parents to the limit - in fact I am surprised that there are not more marriage break ups because of them:(

This is so true.
Mum used to say that they will get in between you, make you fight and then go on their way (in life) and leave you in a right mess.......I love my kids to bits but make sure we don't get into that situation as its really easy to slip down that slope.
