    For Savvy - Morribob's comparison.

Never tried it in August :o
I think I'll buy two jalfrezi's and two spring rolls for £6 + fillers and see if I like them :)
I assume I will get £4 price promise back? Making it cost only £2 which is a bargain:money:
i filled my freezer with jalfrazi's and spring rolls in august i think they are awesome as specially for the price we pay
    it's been a while but i'm back & ready to rumble 2016 :j

This is a repeat of an August deal which lasted about 2-3 weeks. The Jalfrezi was quite good, didn't try the Korma as too bland for me, but lots here liked them. The spring Rolls were 'marmite', people either loved them or hated them. I thought they were OK as a snack for 1 ;)
The Sweet n Sour chicken also compared against A at £2.35 and may well do this time as well.

I loved the spring rolls, unfortunately not many seemed to share that opinion on here :o

Thank you for this explanation Fairclaire. So would
    2 x kormas
    2 x jal
    4 x spring rolls
7 or 8 fillers produce a good PP?

I am helpful when I can be, but stick around long enough and you will learn that maths is not my bag :D:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
But thanks to COTs (who can count :D) post earlier, I believe yes, £8 PP on a £12 spend as above

    Thanks COT :)

Not as much rise as I expected and slightly under baked inside. But still YUM. Sure Paul Hollywood would be able to tell me where I went wrong in seconds :rotfl:

Still, not bad for a first effort.

I make cheese, plain and sultana scones every day as I have a
    tea shop.

I cook mine at 210 degrees for 15 mins (this is a fan oven)

Dont roll them out too thin, this is the biggest mistake people make, they roll them out to about 1cm and expect them to rise up to
4 cm, roll out to about 2-2.5 cm and they will come up to a good rise.

    Tempting sometime though :p:D

I bought some iron Velcro recently Logie, because I can't sew :D I don't even own a needle :o Im sure I got it on eBay

I use it to replace the top buttons on DS2s school shirts because he can't do them and for his trousers because he can't do those hook and loop fastenings either
  • I don't know if I got the wrong ones in A, but baby new potatoes with herbs and butter 360g £1.10 came back N/A against T for me this afternoon.
