Glad you now feel your bedroom is a peaceful haven as really aids rest and recovery. I hate anything in my room and can't sleep if there is anything under the bed. Strange but true.
As for ds1 and his bumpy quilt, have you tried giving him a double duvet and tucking it under mattress at one side so it stays in place? Its strange the phases kids go through. I was watching the '3day nanny' last night and to me it bought back such special memories of ds2. Ex dh used to leave for work at 5am and always bought ds2 into my bed if he woke. Did become a phase for a while and when ex dh worked away ds2 still came into my bed around 5 am. He always curled up and went straight back to sleep so I enjoyed it so much.
I hope you work out the bumpy quilt soon.

It is a much more relaxing room now. I don't mind stuff being in the room/under the bed as long it is tidy and out of sight
I had 4 cardboard boxes with my present stashes in before. We were given another chest of drawers and bedside table by a friend so now the boxes have gone and the stash is out of sight
We had the fun of the bumpy duvet at bedtime yesterday
A friend of mine sewed two zips either side of a duvet cover and flat sheet. She put the flat sheet under the mattress and zips the little one in like a sleeping bag. No tangled duvet or falling out.... may have to have a go at that soon. Just need to get to a haberdashers.
I did get woken in the night as he wanted me to cuddle himtwice  Think he's just needing some extra reassurance at the moment so just got to suck it up.

:A Need your help :A
my good friend lost his wife to a brain tumour.....I hope you don't mind me asking but I would like to help them raise money for the charity
they were told less than 6 weeks ago that she was very unwell....she had a brain tumour and sadly went down hill really fast. The family brought her granddaughters birthday forward so she could see her turn one but very sadly passed away a couple of day after which was last week....it has knocked the family so bad
so im hoping to cushion the pain with your help
it would make my day if we all could help this family by helping them raise money for this charity

Fingers crossed for you, just wondering why some are getting them and others are not, is it because some people have just don't a normal every week shop and others that have had them cancelled have ordered alcohol and more expensive bits.0
