Before I go, I forgot something.
Yesterday I was browsing hukd and saw a post about Thorntons Just for You choccies. They were apparently going through at 1p a box. I thought I'd give it a try and if it worked I'd post it here for you all to have a go. I cheekily ordered rather a lot,;) and the order went through at 1p a box. Checked back on hukd for the code to post on here and saw that someone said it had stopped working, and that the chocs were going through at full price. I tried another order and it totalled a horrendous amount, :eek:so I gave up.
I was expecting a cancellation email, but got a confirmation one about 30 minutes later, but still fully expected one today to say sorry due to a technical problem etc.
Just checked my emails, and yes 'due to a technical problem on our website, etc' but ended by saying they would honour all orders placed, as a gesture of goodwill.:T:D
I am now waiting for a very large box of choccies to be delivered within 7 days:D
Lots of Christmas prezzie hampers will have choccie in them.

Evening all
Didn't get on til this evening. Guessed there had been a glitch given the number of pages I had to wade through
Spent the morning making a reward chart for DS1 as he's being having lots of tantrums at the moment and waking me several times in the night for daft things like 'my duvet cover is bumpy and I need you to help make it flat again'
Had a productive afternoon too sorting out the present stash and seeing what is left for Christmas. I'm so pleased with how well we've done this year. Hardly had to panic buy anythingGifts mainly from Boots sale or BS glitches but also did well out of DK book glitch. Still have lots of cards from Ts cards deal last winter too
Everything now tidied into drawers and have a peaceful bedroom that I can relax properly in
Finally, a big thank you for the on going donationsWe are now at over £1000 without Gift Aid being taken into account
As it was a virtual coffee morning I best give out the coffee and cakes
Well done Logie. You truely inspired the Elite to donate.
Glad you now feel your bedroom is a peaceful haven as really aids rest and recovery. I hate anything in my room and can't sleep if there is anything under the bed. Strange but true.
As for ds1 and his bumpy quilt, have you tried giving him a double duvet and tucking it under mattress at one side so it stays in place? Its strange the phases kids go through. I was watching the '3day nanny' last night and to me it bought back such special memories of ds2. Ex dh used to leave for work at 5am and always bought ds2 into my bed if he woke. Did become a phase for a while and when ex dh worked away ds2 still came into my bed around 5 am. He always curled up and went straight back to sleep so I enjoyed it so much.
I hope you work out the bumpy quilt soon.
Caribean backwards magnum atm receipts at our local. Unfortunately for me my account doesnt give a balance enquiry from here and it is a pain having to take money out just to get them.
Fingers crossed some turn up in post or will have to borrow mums card so I can get them.
As I said yesterday free chocs for anyone with elizabeth shaw moc from the boxes we got a couple of months back as sainsbugs have the straws for £1.
No A orders for me as just could not be bothered. Forgot to take apg out with me today so no rinse and repeating today. Forgot to use pp in T's so cs insisted they must put the refund on a giftcard. No big deal.
Finally with the cc quarter soon closing I put stepdads tcb onto his cc today and was very impressed he has been remembering to use tcb even for their australia flights next year. Mums account has had enough converted to cc so got an amazon voucher to help with the xmas shopping.

A shop against Morries is always a risky shop! The WW meals should have compared to Morries 2 for £3, and the Domestos is £1 in Morries. I also bought the blue Domestos which has gone AWOL.0 -

Was gonna put a piccy up, but thought that peeps wouldn't approve. As for voddy, nice BM, with a few other bits.
Hmm, you have taken quite a knock on the head.
The BM would work if S were priced @ 22 and A were 16.
For example :
Absolut Vodka (1L) S £24.00 A £20.00
or
Stolichnaya Russian Vodka (700ml) S £20.00 v T £14.00Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -

Well done, a collective effort by everyone
I'm sure we were all moved, shed a tear or two as Logie shared her story with us from initial diagnosis and the ups and downs and her struggles that followed. We could all sense what it meant to Logie when the Macmillan nurse would pay a visit and how much of a help it was to her.
Thanks to Logie for sharing her story with us - a very brave, strong women indeed. An inspiration to us all :A:A
