I'm sure more learned peeps will advise, but, if so little money is involved (compared to some insurance claims!), would it not be better to proceed outside of insurance, ie, just get her to pay you directly for it?

It must have been a shock. Hope you're alright. When I crashed (!!) I contacted my insurance company, but I did loose my NCB, with retrospect I probably should have asked the other party to pay for the damages it would have been cheaper for all of us!

This happened to me, when I was waiting in a queue of traffic. I informed my insurance company and gave them drivers details, and they dealt with it for me. I did not lose my no claims as it was other drivers fault. HTHs

All 4 have now been cancelled when I check 'My Orders'. Am tempted to call in tomorrow armed with the order numbers and try my 'daft old biddy' act !

I haven't hardly ever shopped at A before but decided to have a go at the cheese today - also my first ever womble, which came out with ~£4 :j felt really self-conscious until I walked past someone who was also walking around the car park with her eyes to the ground

Contact your insurance company with their details. Your insurance co will deal with it all from there. Your no claims should be fine but your IC will be able to confirm.

When some turd hit my car and wrote it off and proceeded to do a runner, i naturally had to go through my insurance but my no claims were protected so was ok on that front are yours not protected?
