Dont know if I'll be able to partake, because of time, but I bet I've missed a few good ones!
Have just agreed with my boss a 3 month sabbatical from work, as my son is about to start radiotherapy for a cancerous brain tumour, and there is no way I can work and get him to all his appointments. Plus I'm exhausted and stressed from the last 3 months of surgery, appointments, scans, physio, adjusting to having a son with a limp to a son who struggles to walk and has epilepsy.
Well done Logie on the money raising, sounds like you are doing well healthwise (I've only read a page or two)?
Best wishes all xx
How terrible, where is he being treated? Only I have had a lot to do with the Walton Centre for Neurology and Neurosurgery in Liverpool, myself and they can do amazing things.
Last night saw a pop group called Lawson on TV performing from the 02 Arena. They were named after the surgeon from the Walton centre that saved the lead singers life after he had a brain tumour. It was a lovely heartwarming story, they had the surgeon as guest of honour.
Hope things turn out as well for your son.0 -

Before we issue any vouchers for £15 or more, we may check that they have been accurately calculated. You accept that there may be a delay of up to 7 days in us issuing vouchers for £15 or more.
Might be advisable to stay under the £15 in future shops0 -
I havent been near an sada for months and I'm running low on s and g, so maybe now I'm not working, i could take a trip.
Do we still have to watch out for caps on apgs?
Please nobody tell me if I've missed another ambrosia type glitch - I really really dont want to hear that!
Thanks for all the good wishes - we've been told he's unlikely to get any better, but radiotherapy should stop him from getting worse for a couple of years (!).:hello: The grass is not greener, it just looks that way from a distance :hello:0 -

Well done Pinkpetal! If you have a particularly friendly SA I'd take that APG to them when you decide to spend it. That's a brilliant result for your first ever APG shop (much better than my first) but do take careDebt free 6th December 2014

the advice given to you by lawrie28 is really pragmatic and something you need to do. Save your anger and focus your time and energy on your partner. I really do send you both positivity and a huge hug.Tiger
