:j Hello everybody, bit of a lurker - thought i'd say hi, thanks, and ask for some help...hope you don't mind?!

Can some kind person explain the 'trigger' thing for me please?

Loving all your work - would love to be clued up enough to help give something back! :)

    tia AMWP

A trigger item is one which is included in a multibuy offer instore , but does not appear on mysupermarket (the website A's use to calculate the price comparison / APG).

Because it doesn't appear on msm the APG will only show the other items you bought and not the trigger item. It will therefore compare the other items at the full price and not the multibuy offer price.

As long as these items are significantly cheaper in another store (and show this on MSM) you "should" get more back on your APG than you should.

    EG 1 x vinnies tin £5 (trigger)
    2 x Guylian seashells £10

Price paid instore £10 as 3 for £10 multibuy / individual price paid £3.33 ish.

APG does not see trigger item and compares the seashell at £10 to £4 in T3sco when it should compare them at £6.66 to £4. Hence a much higher APG.

    HTH!

This is generally the case although there are exceptions on occasion but don't worry about that!
:) Learn from the past, enjoy and appreciate the present and work to make your future the best it can possibly be :)

    And get lots of glitches!

Just had my Ocado receipt for my shop due tonight. One of the toys I ordered was OOS so now total spend just £56 plus £6 cb already tracked with Q  Total shop before discounts was over £130. Will top up all of the store cupboards again :D

My head is spinning now whilst I try to plan a shop at Ts with coupons, MSL, TCB, shopitize and clicksnap. Anyone else feeling like this will happen? Exploding%20Smiley.gif :rotfl:

Sorry to hear you're having a tough time rudeboy :( Babies have a way of keeping us going, like a little beam of happiness however sad you're feeling. Some extra Harley cuddles are needed for you all x
