    Centerparcs, Whinfell forest

First time going, but heard good things :j

Been to center parcs several times (but not the Lake District one). All really good. Like Butlins for 21st century grownups, not just kids!;)

Check in online before arriving and book a takeaway or restaurant meal in advance for your first night. Bring bikes if you've got your own.
Carlisle Tesco's five seconds from the M6 (A69 Westbound exit) for petrol/food, and do stock up on booze before you arrive. Wine's pricy there and heavy to carry on your bike!

    Bring DVDs for the kids.;)
Phone reception might be dodgy! Don't expect to be contactable

Edit: and a good night from me!

Went into home bargains today looking for some storage boxes/bags I found some massive spotty bags with handles and a zip, ideal to hide Xmas presents in or even glitchy chocolates, think I will be going back for more tom only £1.79.. Bargain.

These bags are huge, and the perfect size for storing your quilts especially if you swap over from summer to winter and vice versa.

I can get two Kingsize feather quilts in them, with a little room to spare and the handles make them much easier to carry around.

Great for storing Christmas decorations in too.

I can't believe we've gone from imagine if we got to £1000 to actually getting there.....in a day. Wonderful.

Prisoners was shockingly bad. Slow, predictable.....the trailer fooled me. About as tense as a chocolate biscuit. Sorry to Pd as it was my suggestion to see it. Bad Emma!

Have fun on your holiday aau :) and big welcome back zip
