"Customs checks when coming from the EU
If a customs official from the UK Border Agency (UKBA) thinks you may be bringing in excise goods such as alcohol and tobacco from the EU for commercial use - perhaps to sell to other people or simply for reimbursement - they may ask you questions and make checks. You may be asked about:
the type and quantity of goods you've bought
why you bought them
how you paid for them
how often you travel
how much you normally smoke or drink
Although there are no limits on the amount of alcohol and tobacco you can bring in from EU countries, customs officials are more likely to ask you questions if you have more than the following:"
See list.
DM, it's not really about the limits or guide lines, more about how many times you have crossed over in a recent period.
Also depends on customs attitude on the day, i'd say stick within the guidelines to avoid agro, given customs have the power to seize your vehicle, and auction or crush as they see fit.Back to square one, no apg, no comment.0 -

Bonjour mes amis, je suis en France, en vacance.:D
And that is the limit of my french.:D.
The weather is fab, 84c on the balcony.
It is just a short break for DH and me, staying with the friends who visited me last week.
Hope you are all well, hugs to those in need.
I'm back on Tuesday, so will have a proper catchup then, and do a 'floflo' T order. I think that the practice should be known in elite speak as a 'flo order' , giving official credit to Floflo for her brilliant find.:T
